The MSA-1 Hydropower Plant is a 3 MW run-of-river facility developed by Araucanía Power SpA. Located near Villarrica in Chile's Araucanía Region, the project harnesses the flow of the Pedregoso and Pichipedregoso rivers to generate approximately 13,300 MWh of clean electricity annually.
